  • Information you submit in an application, including details about your offer and your ability to make changes to your own pages.
  • Anything you tell us on a call, in a reply, or in a group session.

Information collected automatically

2. Text messages

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with anyone for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Ever.

Your mobile number and consent are used only to deliver the messages you asked for, and are shared only with the messaging providers that transmit them on our behalf.

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, here is exactly what that means:

How oftenUp to about 5 messages per event you register for. Message frequency varies.
CostMessage and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for messages; your mobile carrier may.
StoppingReply STOP to any message to stop all further messages. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing more.
HelpReply HELP to any message, or email [email protected].
CarriersCarriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of registering for an event, applying, or purchasing anything from us.

3. Why we use it

  • To deliver the event or program you signed up for, and to remind you it is happening.
  • To decide whether our program is a fit for your business, and to tell you honestly when it is not.
  • To prepare for a session ‚Äî for example reviewing a page you have asked us to look at.
  • To answer you when you reply or get in touch.
  • To understand which of our advertisements and pages work, so we can spend less to reach the people we can actually help.
  • To take payment and to keep the records the law requires us to keep.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make the business run, and only so they can perform their function for us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

5. Cookies, tracking technologies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies on makingclickscount.com to make the site work, to understand how visitors use our pages, and to measure our advertising.

TypeProvider and what it does
EssentialHighLevel, which delivers our pages and forms, sets cookies such as msgsndr_id. These are required to load pages, submit forms and keep your session working, and cannot be switched off.
Performance and securityCloudflare serves our site and collects aggregated traffic, performance and security data.
Analytics and session replayMicrosoft Clarity sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk. It shows us how visitors interact with our pages — clicks, scrolling and session recordings — so we can find and fix what is not working.
AdvertisingThe Meta pixel sets cookies such as _fbp. It measures how our advertisements perform and lets us show advertisements to people who have already visited our site.

We use this information to improve our pages, to measure advertising performance, and to understand which content is useful. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies to build a profile about you beyond the information you give us through our forms.

Controlling cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. You can manage advertising preferences in your Meta account settings, and you can opt out of Microsoft Clarity through Microsoft's privacy controls. Blocking cookies may stop parts of our site from working properly.

Cookies and text messages. Cookie and tracking data is never used to sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with anyone. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are collected only through the opt-in form on our own website, and are never shared with any third party, affiliate or partner for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Your choices

  • Email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. It works immediately.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any message.
  • Access, correction and deletion. Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will keep whatever we are legally required to keep, such as payment records.
  • Cookies and tracking. You can control these through your browser settings and through the advertising platforms' own preference tools. See Cookies, tracking technologies and analytics for what we use and how to opt out.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.

7. How long we keep it

We keep customer and member records for as long as you have a relationship with us and for seven years afterwards, which is the period we may need them for tax and legal purposes. If you registered for an event but never became a customer, we keep your record for up to three years unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Records of who unsubscribed are kept indefinitely, because that is how we make sure we do not contact you again.

8. Security, children and other countries

We use reputable providers and limit who can see your information, but no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our services are for people running a business and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We operate from the United States. If you are elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from your own.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email.
